1.  LIVE JESUS SILENT RESIDENTIAL RETREATS

1.1.Inner-healing Retreat

A journey of awareness through human wounds, their impact on mental and spiritual life, and their healing through the Eucharistic Lord—the Divine Healer and Medicine for every wound. Inspired by St. Thérèse of Lisieux, biblical figures, the wisdom of the saints, and psychological insights, this retreat focuses on healing loss, abandonment, disordered desires, wounded conscience, poor self-image, shame, impatience, envy, wounded relationships, and emotional wounds.

PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES

EDUCATE • EMPOWER • ACCOMPANY

Wounds → Eucharistic Encounter → Healing → Virtue → Holiness → Mission

TO HELP RETREATANTS:

Recognise the nine primary wounds addressed in the retreat: losses, separation and abandonment; desires; conscience; self-image and self-esteem; humiliation and shame; impatience; envy and gossip; wounded relationships; and mental wounds.

Encounter the healing presence of the Eucharistic Lord through Holy Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, the Sacraments, prayer, the Word of God, and the spirituality of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and the Saints.

Receive healing through faith, forgiveness, surrender, and grace, allowing the possible and probable consequences of these wounds to be transformed.

Grow in virtue and holiness, following the Little Way of St. Thérèse through little acts of love and faith.

Become an instrument of healing and hope in the family, the Church, and society.

PREPARATION: Participants are strongly encouraged to read Story of a Soul, the autobiography of St. Thérèse of Lisieux

1.2.Growth Retreat

The retreat offers a reflective journey toward holiness through greater awareness of sin, growth in virtue, and deeper spiritual living. Inspired by Sacred Scripture, the Catechism, the Summa Theologiae, the little virtues of St. Francis de Sales, the Little Way of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, and the wisdom of the saints, it explores the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, the Seven Deadly Sins, the Law of Love, and the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit, fostering authentic conversion and lasting spiritual growth.

1.3.Eucharistic renewal retreat

A deeper dive into the mystery of the Eucharist, the source of healing, holiness, and divine life through Sacred Scripture, Eucharistic saints, and the wisdom of the Church. The retreat explores the Real Presence of Christ, the manna in the wilderness, the Passover and covenant meal, the Bread of Life discourse, the institution of the Eucharist, Saint Paul’s teachings on the Eucharist, and Christ revealed in the breaking of bread, presenting the Eucharist as the sustaining food for the journey of inner healing and growth in virtue.

Parish Mission Preaching (PMP) is a three-day programme of Christian renewal during Lent, beginning in Lent 2028 and continuing thereafter. It prepares the faithful for Easter through conversion, transformation, and communion. The mission invites participants to examine their lives through the Ten Commandments, grow in the attitudes of Christ through the Beatitudes and the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, and deepen their communion with Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Each day includes Adoration and the Rosary, preaching of the Word of God, Holy Mass, and an opportunity for Confession.
